Gender roles are a controversial issue in many cultures, one of these is precisely Uganda where the roles that men and women have to play are very different. The role of women is one of submission and that of men of dominance, in the culture of Uganda gender roles do not allow equality in rights for all people, some of the questions that call my attention in this regard are:

How should women dress?
How are LGBT people viewed?
